JEE Main Class 11-12

What is JEE Main exam?

JEE Main is an Engineering Entrance Exam in India conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into various undergraduate Engineering Programs offered by the Top Engineering Colleges in India. It is conducted twice a year, in January and April. This is being done to ensure that the JEE Main exam does not interfere with the Board examinations, which may be held at different times across the States/UTs. In order for a student to be able to appear for JEE Main, a candidate needs to have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as their compulsory subjects in Class 11th & 12th.

The questions appear in the JEE Main are MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) that are tricky in nature which tests the students understanding of the concepts and their analytical skills. The questions are mostly NCERT based.
